
Want to be a high-performing Systems Engineer, I do, daily. My goals are simple, I want earn the trust of those I work with and those I sell to. My motto is always to be open, honest, and transparent. I want to help those around me and I want to learn from others.
I’m not going to take credit for these rules for an SE, in fact, I wrote them down a while ago but did not save my reference. I’ve taken some of these and added others, this a great list. I think something we can all learn from. Sharing is caring!

Cultivate long-term relationships. Focus on providing help and value to everyone you interact with. Trust is the foundation of successful sales.
Number 4 – No doesn’t mean forever🚪
Not every pitch lands. But just because you are rejected today doesn’t mean it’s a no forever. Timing and persistence is everything.
Number 5 – Collaborate with Your Tech Team 🤝
A strong partnership with the tech side ensures seamless solutions for clients.

Prioritize tasks efficiently. Time is your most valuable resource.
Number 7 – Customize Your Approach 🎨
Every client is unique. Tailor your pitch to address their specific pain points.
Number 8 – Celebrate All Wins 🎉
There is a lot of weight on the shoulders of an SE. Acknowledge and appreciate your achievements, no matter how small. It keeps motivation high. Beyond that, acknowledge those that helped you in each and every win! Winning takes a team.
